How to Start Repairing Damaged Photographs

All Alston photo restorations are done digitally. This means we begin with a high quality scan of your image, so your irreplaceable original is not manipulated or altered in any way.

Choose either:

1. A totally digital retouch, in which you scan the image and upload the digital file for restoration. The advantage of this approach is that you retain the irreplaceable original. Click here for directions on uploading your scan.
2. Mail the image to our Santa Barbara, CA studio. We will complete a nondestructive scan for you and return the original photo. Click here for instructions on mailing your photos.

You may choose to receive a digital file of your restored photo by e-mail or on a disc. If you prefer, we can mail you a print of the restored image.
